Did you know that May 2 is Bear Awareness Day? You are invited to come learn more about bears and have fun at the OC Zoo on Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This free, family event will include activities such as crafts for kids, special zookeeper chats about bears, and a learning station where you can find out more about bear conservation and research, how to “bear proof” camping sites, and what to do if you see a bear.
Reservations are not needed for this event.
All activities are free with paid zoo admission, which is $2 per person. (ages 2 & under are free.)
