The newly-themed area opened at the beginning of May and even includes a brand new attraction, NINJAGO The Ride!

NINJAGO The Ride is the center of NINJAGO World where interactive experiences test guest’s creativity, speed, balance and agility. It uses cutting-edge Maestro hand gesture technology, manufactured by Triotech, the world leader in media based interactive attractions, and enables guests to throw fire balls, shock waves, ice and lightning to defeat villains. Riders collect points for their training and battle efforts and scores are displayed when their quest is completed. Effects such as heat, smoke and wind are incorporated throughout the adventure, giving guests the ultimate interactive 4D experience. 
Twenty-two new LEGO models flank the new land, in addition to a new retail outlet, Wu’s Warehouse, which carries everything you might need to be a Ninjago ninja, regardless of your age or gender! 
The area also welcomed a new dining option for the hungry, Ninja Kitchen. LEGOLAND chefs put a special twist on Asian street food with Banh Mi sandwiches on fresh baked baguettes or steamed Bao Buns with crispy pork belly, lemongrass chicken or baked sweet chili tofu.

Like so many others I know, I spent years as a self-diagnosed lactose-intolerant person because every time I’d drink milk, I’d have “tummy issues” afterwards. From early childhood, I was a milk lover and grew up drinking it every day. When I had to stop, it was truly heartbreaking for me. At the time we were looking to adopt her, we were really only looking to adopt one cat but ended up with two! It seemed like like each time we’d visit another animal shelter or contact an animal rescue about an adoption, every volunteer we dealt with would tried to get us to consider adopting two cats together. It just wasn’t something we were interested in at the time. Well, I will totally admit now that they were all right! 
Once we learned our soon-to-be-cat had a litter of kittens somewhere (they were being fostered elsewhere), we were beyond determined to adopt both the momma AND her female kitten. 
After a lot of persistence, we finally succeeding in adopting her kitten too, Lilly Belle, about a week after we adopted Lucy. It was well worth the wait!

Some local animal rescue groups and pet-related businesses will partner with the Imperial Highway Animal Clinic to share information on pet wellness for those already in homes, as well as raise awareness for those pets who need new homes. All proceeds from the event will go to participating rescue groups.
