Twas’ the day before New Year’s and all through the city the citizens are stirring and buzzing about! With sparkling streamers and festive party hats this is one celebration you won’t want to miss. Pretend City Children’s Museum is the “city” they’re speaking of and they’re, once again, ringing in the new year with their annual “Noon” Year’s Eve Confetti Countdown on December 31st from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.!
This is the ideal New Year’s Eve kid-friendly celebration geared specifically towards families with infants, young toddlers, and preschoolers. Some special activities of the day will include:
Sensational Story Time – Twas’ the Night Before New Year’s will be the featured story of the day. See if your little can find some inspiration to stay awake until the strike of the New Year!
Smart Art: New Year’s Resolution – This colorful art project will be your opportunity to create a family new year’s resolution. This promise will be one that you make to your family as a whole to be better and help others. New Year’s Eve Confetti Countdown – This countdown is for the kids! Countdown the new year and celebrate every two hours beginning at noon with a special rockin’ rollin’ dance party! Streamers, blowouts, noise makers, and confetti will make this the party of all parties!
Confetti Countdown times will be at 10:00a.m. 12:00p.m. 2:00p.m. and 4:00p.m. on New Year’s Eve day. There is no RSVP required to attend and no additional fee for the Noon Year’s Eve Confetti Countdown. It’s all included in the price of admission to Pretend City.
