This May, the creativity of the LEGO® building system meets the thrilling adventures and beloved characters from “a galaxy far, far away” when LEGO® Star Wars™ Days returns to LEGOLAND® Florida Resort.
Authorized by Lucasfilm, this year’s event will double the fun on two weekends –from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 6 Sunday, May 7, and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14.
In MINILAND USA, kids can explore some of the most famous scenes from the Star Wars™ saga made out of 1.5 million LEGO bricks, including detailed displays inspired by “Star Wars – Episode IV: A New Hope,” “Star Wars – Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back” and “Star Wars – Episode VI: Return of the Jedi,” plus giant LEGO models of Darth Vader, Darth Maul and R2-D2.
Kids can also:
- Create a giant LEGO® Star Wars™ mural, brick by brick
- Build their own LEGO® Star Wars™ model
- Search for LEGO droids throughout MINILAND USA to unscramble a secret message
- Learn tips and tricks from our LEGO Master Model Builders
- Build the world’s largest LEGO Yoda model
- Meet LEGO Darth Vader
- Dress up as their favorite LEGO® Star Wars™ character and participate in our intergalactic costume parade (ages 12 and under)

During April, Lucille’s will donate Round It Up America contributions to Autism Speaks. This great in which Guests dining at 22 participating Lucille’s locations throughout Arizona, California, and Nevada, are provided with the option to “round up” their purchases to the nearest dollar, which are then donated to Autism Speaks.
Team members at Lucille’s restaurants will wear buttons and blue beads, the color of Autism Speaks, to show their support. Tabletop signage will share information about autism and Autism Speaks.
During the month of April, Lucille’s will also be serving up a ‘Blueberry and Basil Margarita,’ a blue drink inspired by the color of Autism speaks, that combines El Jimador Reposado Tequila, fresh basil, vibrant blueberries and is then hand-shaken with agave nectar and fresh lime juice. For each drink sold, Lucille’s will donate an additional $1 towards their final donation to Autism Speaks.
Last year, Lucille’s two Las Vegas restaurants raised about $2,000 for Autism Speaks. This year, Lucille’s hopes to raise more than $30,000 to help the nonprofit organization support research into the causes and better interventions for autism. Lucille’s is thrilled to work with Lucille’s on a larger scale this April. This fundraising campaign helps to ensure that children and adults with autism have access to reliable information and services throughout their lives.

Knott’s Boysenberry Festival runs from April 1-23 this year. During the festival, guests have the opportunity to enjoy boysenberry foods, both sweet and savory, and boysenberry-inspired craft beer and wine. Trust me when I say that you need to try all of the special boysenberry offerings during Knott;s Boysenberry Festival. One of the best ways to get a tasting of a variety of these foods is by purchasing a Festival Tasting Card. For just $25, you’ll get to sample 6 different items. As you can see, I started with one of the desserts, Boysenberry Panna Cotta!
The Festival Tasting Card gives you quite a bit of food as you get samples of Boysenberry BBQ Meatballs, Boysenberry Fry Bread, Boysenberry Buffalo Wings, Boysenberry Ravioli, Boysenberry Panna Cotta, and Boysenberry Pizza!

Walk For Wishes is an amazing, annual event that’s always filled with incredible moments as “wish” children, families, volunteers and participants come together to celebrate and honor wish recipients of the past and present.
This year’s event is held on World Wish Day, Saturday, April 29 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.. at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine. World Wish Day is a celebration of the first wish ever granted to 7-year-old Chris Greicius who wished to be a police officer, and a celebration of all wishes past, present and future.
The event is open to the public and kicks off with a spirited, non-competitive walk at the Orange County Great Park. Guests will also be able to experience the World of Wishes festival with special booths dedicated to each of the four wish types: I wish to have, I wish to go, I wish to be and I wish to meet. Attendees will enjoy music, games, face painting, live entertainment and food from local vendors.
Registration is $25 and proceeds from the walk will go directly to granting the wishes of local children facing life-threatening medical conditions.

The free family event will kick off with an Easter egg hunt at 12 noon, beginning in Kaleidoscope’s courtyard. Passport cards will be given out to the first 300 children, directing them to the participating shops and restaurants where they will receive candy-filled eggs and prizes. The completed passports can then be handed in for a chance to win a Grand Easter Basket. Children should bring their own baskets to collect eggs.
In addition, the Easter Garden Party will offer a complimentary photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny for guests who bring their own camera. The fun afternoon will also include free face painting, a balloon artist, and a petting zoo with bunnies, baby goats, chicks and ducklings. It’s going to be so much fun and a great family event!
