The cat’s out of the bag! Imperial Highway Animal Clinic is calling all pet-lovers to attend its first annual Yorba Linda Pet Fair, which will take place on Sunday, May 22 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
The event will be one-of-a-kind, offering both medical services for animals as well as an afternoon full of pets, food and fun. It will provide locals with the opportunity to get connected with their community animal clinic and enjoy themselves while also contributing to a good cause. The Yorba Linda Pet Fair will provide visitors with a chance to meet some adoptable pets, cash in on discounted vaccinations, visit with dog trainers, and even a few pet vendors. There will be a dog wellness seminar held at 11:00 a.m. and at 2:00 p.m. and children can have their photo taken with an Alpaca who will be joining the fun as well.
Some local animal rescue groups and pet-related businesses will partner with the Imperial Highway Animal Clinic to share information on pet wellness for those already in homes, as well as raise awareness for those pets who need new homes. All proceeds from the event will go to participating rescue groups.
The number of shelter animals continues to grow each year. Just over half of all shelter animals in Orange County are able to find new homes and our goal is to increase that number by raising awareness in hosting a fun, charitable event like the Yorba Linda Pet Fair”. – Dr. John Adam, DVM, CBA, Owner and President of Imperial Highway Animal Clinic
