Irvine Park Railroad’s 12th annual Pumpkin Patch will be open daily this year beginning September 16th and will run through October 31st! 
Irvine Park Railroad is located inside of Irvine Regional Park, in the foothills of Orange, California. It’s one of our family’s favorite activities to do together each fall. 
The Pumpkin Patch is located in Locomotive Loop and Miner’s Meadow just behind the train station and has thousands of pumpkins, in all shapes and sizes. All visitors are sure to find the perfect pumpkin there! There are also several Pumpkin Patch activities to choose from.

The Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch will be open daily from September 16th through October 31st and hours are as follows:
- Weekdays 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Weekends 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

Irvine Park Railroad’s 2nd annual “Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off” will take place on Saturday, September 23rd starting at 11:00 am. Come see if pumpkin growers have what it takes to grow the biggest pumpkin. Cash prizes will be awarded. KTLA Channel 5 weatherman Henry DiCarlo will host this event and a live band will play on this day only from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The parking fee for Irvine Regional Park is $3.00 per vehicle on weekdays and $5.00 per vehicle on weekends. Important parking information: As Halloween nears, we encourage visitors to plan to arrive early to help avoid crowds, particularly on the weekend. What is the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration “On-The-Road”? 
The “On-The-Road” conference is a mini version of the bigger Disney Social Media Moms Celebration which is a much larger, multi-day annual conference also put on by Disney Parks. The purpose of this conference is to give attendees sort of a “snapshot” of what’s to come in the near future for Disney. It might include information about additions to Disney Parks around the world, Disney Cruise information, the Disney Parks Blog, or even give attendees a sneak peek at upcoming Disney movies. There are several great speakers at the conference who provide helpful information about blogging, social media, and the digital space and inspire all of those in the room. 
Since this particular conference location was at the Disneyland Resort, each attendee also had the opportunity to spend the rest of the day, inside the Parks, with their family. What an absolute treat! There’s nothing quite like making Disney memories together! Don’t you agree?

This year, I’m all about saving as much as I can on my back-to-school expenses so I”ll be hitting up 
There are so many things to buy for the upcoming school year. Whether your children wear a school uniform or regular clothes to school, outfitting them can cost a pretty penny, especially as most of them have sprouted over the summer and can longer wear much from last school year. Then there are school shoes to buy, new backpacks & lunchboxes, and a ton of school supplies. This year I also need to purchase a laptop for my daughter. It seems like the list goes on and on. The July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza will light up Dana Point Harbor. Visitors can enjoy fantastic views from the harbor, Baby Beach, the Island, and the many waterfront eateries located within the harbor. The display begins at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4 and early arrival is recommended. Visitors are encouraged to bring a personal FM radio to tune into KSBR 88.5FM and listen to the patriotic music accompanying the fireworks display.
Spend the week of Independence Day enjoying Dana Point Harbor’s many waterfront restaurants and ocean activities, or take a cruise in the harbor on July 4th to view the fireworks display. The Ocean Institute, Dana Wharf Sportfishing & Whale Watching, and Capt. Dave’s Dolphin & Whale Watching Safari are all offering 4th of July Fireworks cruises.
Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the free shuttle services on July 4th to avoid traffic jams. The shuttles will make round trips from Dana Hills High School to Dana Point Harbor from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Shuttle service will suspend at 9 p.m. until after the fireworks and will resume until 11 p.m.
The Dana Point Trolley will drop off and pick up at stop #6 on July 4th in the Harbor from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the inter Harbor shuttle will pick up and drop off at the restaurants and retail area, Baby Beach, the Island, and Ocean Institute from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
